This year, the APRIL AI Hub and the Generative AI Laboratory are honoured to host the UK AI Research Symposium.
The second annual UK AI Research Symposium will be held at the John McIntyre Conference Centre on Pollock Estate, The University of Edinburgh on 24th and 25th November 2026.
UKAIRS aims to bring researchers who have received, and are eligible for, UKRI AI investments, covering both technical topics, and social sciences and humanities perspectives, to present their work on AI related subjects to the whole community. The goal is to shape the UK’s research priorities, identify cross-fertilisation opportunities, and inform the narrative around the challenges to delivering AI that benefits society and the economy. UKAIRS will invite research contributions through research abstracts, posters, and demos.
