Find EMOS here: EMOS - Electronics Materials Operating System
The Electronics Materials Operating System (EMOS) is an open, web-based platform that unifies fragmented resources in electronic materials research. It brings together diverse databases, interoperable computational tools, and benchmarkable AI models within a single, extensible ecosystem.
Research in this area is often hindered by fragmented databases, disconnected AI models, limited interoperability between workflows, and challenges in benchmarking and reproducibility. EMOS addresses these issues by providing a unified, extensible framework that integrates key components of the materials discovery pipeline.
The platform offers access to modular “information units”, including curated materials databases, generative models for materials design, and property prediction models. Researchers can combine these units to build custom pipelines, referred to as “features”, for specific electronic device design tasks. EMOS is built with openness and collaboration in mind, enabling contributors to add new models, datasets, and workflows that seamlessly integrate into the ecosystem. By lowering technical and structural barriers, EMOS aims to promote reproducible, interoperable, and scalable research in electronic materials.
